About Us

We are Phil and Candice.  We’re a couple of Canadian newlyweds who designed and built our own custom adventure vehicle out of a 2005 Ford E350 school bus.  Now we have an amazing Skoolie, named Max Leisure, that we use for road-trip adventures.

Candice is a technology consultant who has spent over ten years working at global consulting firms.  She is absolutely obsessed with travel, yoga, suntanning, dancing, music, and trying ANYTHING at least once.  Candice spends a lot of time in stilettos and business suits and low-key hates camping.

Phil is a carpenter who works for himself.  He is the genius behind the build of Max Leisure.  Phil loves to travel, play guitar, and have spontaneous dance parties.   Phil has spent over two years living in tents (on and off) and he is an avid camper, fisherman, and general outdoorsy type.

We also travel with our dog, Cooper.  Cooper is a mystery puppy (aka unknown mixture hound) who loves to cuddle, nap and smell things.
